Adele Beats Lady Gaga In Digital Single Race

Rolling In The Deep by Adele is the biggest selling digital single by a female artiste in the modern era, according to Artist Direct.

Adele's lead single from 21 has moved 6.68 million copies, beating Lady Gaga's Poker Face, which at last count stood at 6.62 million copies.

In fact, Adele continues to be a force to be reckoned with on the album chart too. This is the 23rd week Adele's 21 is No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making 21 the longest-running No. 1 since Prince & The Revolution's Purple Rain soundtrack held on to the No. 1 spot for 24 weeks in 1984 and 1985.
