Adele's Private Life Exposed
Adele may sing about her love life, but she's reluctant to speak about it - and so fans are hoping that a bold new book will reveal some insider gossip about the star.
Biographer Marc Shapiro has written a book that is due to be published next month.
According to the Mail on Sunday, it will be about the vocal chord haemorrhage which resulted in Adele's emergency surgery in Massachussets last year, as well as the truth about her former boyfriends and her childhood in Tottenham, North London.
Shapiro has also written a book about Justin Bieber and says "I tend to tell my stories without overt sensationalism", suggesting fans can expect a truthful account of Adele's life so far.
Adele has not authorised the book and has turned down interview requests connected with it. The singer recently told Matt Lauer "I just want to make music. I don't want people to talk about me. All I ever wanted to do was sing."
21 is the all time bestselling digital album in the US. In the UK, it has gone platinum 13 times.
