STATEN ISLAND. N.Y. Word is Adele Scharf of Adeles Kids & Adults Talent & Modeling Management, Meiers Corners, who books youngsters for stints on television, films, Broadway productions and print ads, has helped place five babies and their parents in an upcoming Fisher-Price ad.

Of interest, one of the youngsters and her mom little Madeline DeMeo and Mrs. Shanon Flately DeMeo are second-generation Adeles clients. Shanon was cast in a Huggies commercial when she was just an infant.

Adele also has signed on youngsters in a Cartoon Network series called Team Toon, where live action kids will be part of the cartoon series. Whats more, Adeles kids are appearing in commercials for Verizon, Band-Aid, Walmart, Kaiser Permanente, Charmin, Levis, Cabevision, Babies R Us, Kids R Us, Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, American Eagle, GAP, Target, Hasbro and Nuk, to name a few.

Adele boasts proudly: We have two young men, Ethan Coutts and Daniel Powelson, working in a new film based on the TV series, Blood Ties.

Adele adds that the new HBO series The Newsroom, directed by Aaron Sorkin, includes Staten Island twins Kenny and Sammy Terzic, who have just completed filming for Boardwalk Empire. Theyll be continuing their characters story line, which began last season.

And at this writing, Adeles been contacted by a major production company about doing a reality show on agencies who represent babies. Well keep you posted!

POSTER WINNERS

News comes our way that Assembly! man Mich ael Cusick (D-Mid-Island) met with several Staten Island elementary school students in Albany recently to spread awareness about New Yorkers who are living with physical and mental impairments and to call attention to their amazing accomplishments.

Assemblyman Cusick, a tireless advocate on behalf of the disabled, reiterated his dedication to the community: I will always work to improve conditions, and make life easier for men, women and children living with disabilities. They are an inspiration to the state and nation, and will always have a friend in me.

The students were recognized for their submissions to the annual Disability Day Poster Contest.

Winners in the kindergarten division were Emilia Deliso and Colin Chu, Academy of St. Dorothy, and Christopher Canale, St. Christopher School.

In first grade, Kayla Melidones and Isabella Odjourian, Academy of St. Dorothy, and Ryan Cambria, St. Christopher School.

In second grade, Gary Van Pelt, Caroline Crowdell and Andrew Barbera, Our Lady of Good Counsel.

In third grade, Jasin Marku, PS 5; Matthew Casey, Academy of St. Dorothy, and Joseph Noto, PS 5.

In fourth grade, Caitlin Matthies, Lyndsay Lampariello and Jianna Cruz of PS 8.

And in fifth grade, Kayla Nazzi and Nicholas Orsini, PS 8, and Jenna Bonomi, PS 42.

PRHS 92 REUNION

A 20-year reunion for the graduating Class of 1992 from Port Richmond High School will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 7 p.m. at The Grand Plaza, 23 Nelson Ave., Great Kills.

The evening will include open bar and dancing, as well as the chance to reconnect with old friends, browse the Winds of Change yearbook, share laughs, photos and more.

Reservations should be received by Sunday, July 1. Tickets are $90 per person.

Reunion organizers Sandy (Heddle) Finkey, Meredith Fogelman-Birmingham and Ayelet Hen-Schwartz are actively searching for members of the 1992 graduating class.

ST. PAULS 62 REUNION

BERRY GATHERING

An annual get-together of those who live or lived in the Berry Houses in Dongan Hills will be staged on Thursday, June 21, at 7 p.m. Lees Tavern, also Dongan Hills.
The event will see former Berry Houses residents come from Delaware, Florida, New Jersey and even Tottenville.

Mark, a native Staten Islander, has been named to the City Parks Foundation board of directors, where he will spearhead a Staten Island Advisory Committee, organizing other community stakeholders who will help connect the nonprofit with the borough.

Tomorrow is birthday time for Joan Cusack, former chair of the state Crime Victims Board, and longtime companion of Borough President James P. Molinaro; Bill Frickenstein, who shares a birthday with D. Lansing Parker, Kevin J. Collins, Mehghan Limato, Jack Rosenthal and Nicole Tagliamonti.
