Adele and Pattinson fought over who has an easier time blending in public.
Adele, who won six Grammy awards this year and whose album "21" has gone platinum 16 times over, took issue with the "Twilight" saga actor saying that she had an easier time in everyday situations.
"I just, for some reason, just decided to get into an argument with her about this," Pattinson continued. "I woke up the next morning regretting every word of it."
Pattinson admits that he is socially awkward, and was even before he shot to fame with the release of "Twilight."
"I would be one of those people who was desperate to go to a party and then they go to the party and just stand in the! corner with the people they came with and refuse to acknowledge that anyone else is there," he explains. "So I dont really miss anything. You have all these fantasies of, 'If I wasnt famous Id meet all these random people in the street all the time.' But you dont meet random people in the street. Most of the time youre trying to avoid everybody."
