Adele invites fans to see Royal Albert Hall DVD for free, drops awesome trailer: Watch it here!
Adele may be on vocal rest in the wake of her successful vocal cord surgery, but thanks to the magic of video technology, the people who keep buying 21 (seriously, who are the 108,000 of you who just caught up last week?) can still experience the soulstress in a live setting.
In two weeks, Adele will release Live from the Royal Albert Hall, a DVD compendium of her concert at one of Britains most historic venues. Recorded in September, it features little more than a voice and a modest-sized orchestra. As you can see from the trailer below, sing-alongs were prevalent, as were her freshly-toned blond locks.
In celebration of the release of the DVD, there will also be free screenings at movie theaters for fans in 26 cities around the world (American devotees better hope they live close to New York or Los Angeles, though Europeans have a lot more options). Check out the details of the screenings here.
With DVDs from Adele, Lady Gaga, Beyonc, and Taylor Swift all coming in the next two weeks, which divas video compendium will you be picking up? Let us know in the comments!
