Adele is on the mend after vocal surgery
Pop singer Adele has had surgery to stop a vocal cord hemorrhage that forced the singer to cancel her upcoming U.S. and U.K. tour dates. Her doctor expects Adele to make a full recovery from her laser microsurgery, according to a statement released by Massachusetts General Hospital, where Adele underwent the surgery with Dr. Steven Zeitels. (A sort-of vocal surgeon to the stars, Zeitels performed a similar procedure on Aerosmiths Steven Tyler.) Adeles throat problems had bothered her throughout her break-out year.
