Adele - my new man is divorced

Adele has spoken out about her boyfriend - setting the record straight following reports he's still married.

It had previously been suggested that bearded boyfriend Simon Konecki, 36, known as Swampy to his friends, was still in the process of divorcing his ex.

But chart-topper Adele, 23, wrote on her website: "This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon.

"Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for four years.

"Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx," she said, referring to her appearance at the Brits next month.

The Someone Like You singer is reported to have already met Simon's parents, when the pair holidayed in Florida.

Adele is expected to make her live UK comeback at the Brit Awards at the O2 after having to pull out of her tour for surgery for a throat condition.
