LONDON, April 3 (UPI) -- British recording star Adele says she will release one new song soon, but a follow-up to her blockbuster album "21" probably won't be out for another two years.
"If I didn't write my own songs, I'd be out next week with a new album," the BBC reported she told the French radio station NRJ. "I have to take time and live a little bit. There were a good two years between my first and second albums, so it'll be the same this time."
The singer offered no details about the song she plans to release this year but the BBC said it likely will be the theme song to the next James Bond flick, "Skyfall."
Adele, who won six Grammy Awards this year, said she is not concerned about her next effort matching the success of "21," which has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide.
"I don't think I'll feel the pressure for the next album to be as big as the last one because I know that's not really possible," the BBC quoted her as saying. "What's happened with this album is very rare anyway."
