Corporate Attorney Adele Hogan Joins Sheppard Mullin New York
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire -04/24/12)- N. Adele Hogan has joined the New York office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in the firm's Corporate practice group. Hogan joins from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York.
Hogan specializes in securities transactions, M&A transactions, restructurings/bankruptcies, corporate governance and general corporate matters. She has worked on over 200 deals totaling over $250 billion.
In the securities area, Hogan works for underwriters and issuers in a wide array of industries on offerings of diverse types of securities, including investment grade debt, IPOs of common stock, medium-term note programs, 144A offerings, debt tenders, and consent solicitations. In the M&A area, she has led public company tender offers, going-private transactions, spin-offs and private equity deals.
In the restructuring & bankruptcy area, Hogan has worked on bankruptcies in the airlines, automotive, chemicals, energy & utilities, financial institutions, gaming, hotels & leisure, real estate and retail industries. She regularly advises clients on SEC reporting, disclosure and corporate governance issues.
